Who introduced you to the outdoors lifestyle?

My father introduced me to the outdoors at a very young age. Camping, hunting, and fishing were constant activities for my family, creating many fond memories.  We lived in a small community in northern Saskatchewan with many pristine lakes very close.  I believe that natural beauty and family time is what instilled the love of fishing and outdoors in me.

What are your top 3 loves in the outdoors?
  1. Fishing
  2. Photography
  3. Hunting
What vessels/vehicles do you use?

I currently use a Princecraft Xpedition 200 WS with a Mercury 250 ProXS outboard. I also have a Wilderness Systems kayak that I use for smaller remote lakes.

What are your favourite brands of gear that you use?

Humminbird, MinnKota, Shimano, G Loomis, Mack’s Lure, & Rapala.

How did you get into fishing?

My father and grandfather introduced me to fishing at a very young age. For them it was a way to provide additional food for our family, however, for me it was an opportunity to spend time with two men that I looked up to.  Now that I have a family of my own I try to do the same with my children.

Where is your favourite place to fish, and for what species?

Northern Saskatchewan for large Northern Pike and Lake Trout.

What’s your bucket list fishing trip?

Panama for Roosterfish.
