This strategic move comes at an exciting time for RAILBLAZA as they expand their operations and venture into new territories. Nick brings with him a remarkable history of over 25 years of industry experience. With this wealth of knowledge and established relationships, Nick’s expertise will be instrumental in continuing the robust and established partnerships when he assumes the role on the 17th of July.

July 2023 also marks an important transition for the company as Peter Dudman, current RAILBLAZA EMEA Sales Director, retires after 13 successful years developing, growing, and supporting the business. Peter’s invaluable contributions and comprehensive experience within marine leisure equipment sales management has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth. His legacy will undoubtedly inspire Nick and the team moving forward.

One of the key developments accompanying Nick’s appointment is the establishment of a state-of-the-art 3PL European Warehouse based in the Netherlands. The facility will play a vital role in expanding logistics for RAILBLAZA’s fastest-moving and most popular product lines, ensuring efficient delivery and customer satisfaction across the continent.

Prior to joining RAILBLAZA, Nick Edgington held prominent roles within the marine industry. At SM Group, he was responsible for sales of leading equipment and electronics brands including Garmin and Raymarine, where he served as the Sales & Business Development Manager. His tenure involved managing the sales team, implementing effective sales strategies, and achieving challenging targets. Nick’s experience also includes Managing Director at Edge-Water Marine Ltd, the UK distributor for Legend Yachts & Sasga Yachts, Sales & Business Director at Piranha Ribs Ltd, where he successfully established and marketed the new brand onto the international market. Additionally, as Brokerage Manager at Sparkes Marine Agency, he further displayed his aptitude for strategic sales management. Beyond his professional career, powerboat and yachting activities, Nick coaches football, holds a Football Association Level 1 coaching qualification and has run five marathons, including the famous New York City Marathon.
