We have been “Blazing” again, this time on a visit last week  to West Australian Kayak retailer, Perth Canoe Works. Owner Wayne has 3 stores in WA and all are now stocking a full range of RAILBLAZA accessories, offering customized fit outs in-store.  The objective of this visit was to do some product training and what better way than to fit out a kayak for the showroom!

The kayak Wayne offered for “Blazing” is the Tootega Prophecy 135.. a perfect platform for the RAILBLAZA system (as is the smaller Prophecy 110). In this fit out we used a both surface mount StarPorts and Side ports… most of the mounts were fitted using the stainless bolts supplied and 2 were fitted using the stainless self tapping screws supplied. Front Deck

• 2 x StarPort surface mounts… ideal position for our adjustable Rod holder II, Cup Clam, Boom 150…just to name a few

Center Console

• 3 x Surface mount StarPorts, 1 mounted to the vertical surface at easy reach of the paddler.. the mounts positioned here lend themselves to a full range of our accessories. In particular this area is an ideal work station for electronics..our Mobi device holder,  Platform mounts  & TracPort 350 can help turn this small space into a very compact and functional work station 
• 1 x recess mounted Starport mounted to the hatch lid..this position is closest to the paddler and can be used for many of our accessories, the G-Holds as pictured below come in very handy to secure items close at hand

Tank Well

• 2 x SidePort mounts   mounted to the inside walls of the rear tankwell, postitoned to be out of the way of your fish bag or bin but ideal use of space behind the paddler…this position is perfect for the TelePole and Navilight combination…unlimited options.
• 1 x surface mount StarPort on the very stern of the kayak for our Safety Flag
